Abstract

Review. In August 2005, the Mexico-Guatemala Colloquium was held in San Cristóbal de Las Casas. State and citizenship, and twelve of the works presented there now make up this volume. On the subject of the role of the State and citizens, researchers - academics and also former officials and political leaders - from Guatemala and Mexico met.
