Abstract
In Mexico, as in Central America and the Caribbean, the histories of the national states are crossed by diverse migratory processes. There is a multiplicity of causes that promote the migration of entire towns, without a doubt the main causes are economic, the lack of employment opportunities, education and the violence generated in rural and urban locations, in addition to the levels of poverty that have reached both the Mexican Republic and the countries of the Central American Isthmus and the Caribbean.
