Abstract

With this book, María Luisa de la Garza has made a deep, analytical and also entertaining reading - sometimes with hints of humor - of the narcocorridos. It is also an enriching analysis and at the same time enriched by different perspectives, but without losing sight of its main guiding element — mentioned from the subtitle and insinuated in the quote that gives the text its name: «but I like what is good» -: inserted ethics in this type of cultural compositions.
